Joy in the Journey

Join us for our upcoming Women's Event on Friday evening, October 2, and Saturday morning, October 3, 2026. Together, we will dive into the book of Philippians to explore what it truly means to find lasting joy in living, knowing, and trusting Christ. 

We are thrilled to welcome Tricia Patterson as our guest speaker! Tricia is a Bible teacher, author, podcast host, and a member of the teaching team at Anthem Church in Waco, Texas. She is incredibly passionate about helping women deeply know God's Word and live it out in the middle of everyday life. 

Come connect with other women, enjoy intentional times of worship, and sit under rich, practical teaching.

OUR SPEAKER

Tricia Patterson

Tricia Patterson is a Bible teacher, author, speaker, and podcast host passionate about helping women know God's Word and apply it to everyday life. She serves on the Teaching Team at Anthem Church and has spent more than a decade teaching, writing, and encouraging women to grow in their faith.
Tricia is the author of several books and Bible studies, including Cultivating a Life of Joy, an eight-session Bible study designed to help women experience lasting joy through a deeper relationship with Christ. She is also the author of the children's books A Prayer from Head to Toe and the forthcoming A Prayer from Fear to Faith, a faith-filled picture book that helps children face their fears with biblical truth and confidence in God.
In addition to writing and speaking, Tricia hosts the Truth at Home podcast and co-hosts the Fighting for Generations podcast, where she encourages women to stand firm in their faith and influence the next generation for Christ.
Tricia and her husband, Sam, live in Waco, Texas with their three daughters, Joy, Ellie, and Emma.

OUR WORSHIP LEADER

Originally from Anderson, Indiana, Jennifer has been leading worship in church since she was a very young girl. After majoring in Choral & Instrumental Music Education at Ball State University, she went on to sing professionally in Nashville, Tennessee. Jennifer and her husband, Mike, have been married since 1999 and have three daughters, Lydia, Sophia, and Victoria. Mike and Jennifer have been in music ministry for more than 25 years and have been blessed to lead with many wonderful, godly musicians all over the world. Together, they have led worship in Tennessee, Louisiana, Indiana, and various countries in South America. They consider it one of life’s greatest blessings to be used by God through their music to open doors and minister to others. In her free time, Jennifer loves reading, traveling, spending quality time with family, and participating in community musical theatre. 

Jennifer Acevedo
